Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Construction Project Manager to lead paving and highway projects in Virginia's Hampton Roads region. You will manage all phases of construction, develop plans, supervise staff, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

You will coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, oversee documentation, safety, and QA/QC, and drive project success from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience with project leadership.
• Experience managing paving, highway, or heavy civil projects valued $10M–$20M.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of paving construction projects, delivering on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and execute project plans, construction methods, staffing strategies, and equipment utilization plans.
• Monitor costs, schedules, quality, and safety, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and project teams for efficient execution and communication.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, inspections, testing, closeout activities, warranties, and punch lists.
