Job summary

Branscome invites a skilled Paving Construction Project Manager to join our team serving the Hampton Roads area from Williamsburg, Hampton, and Virginia Beach offices. You will lead a variety of paving projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

Reporting to the Director of Paving Operations, you will manage planning, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and documentation while upholding safety and quality standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with at least one year supervisory experience.
• Experience with highway projects in the $10M–$20M range.
• Knowledge of safety codes and OHSA regulations; familiarity with state/local codes.

Responsibilities

• Meet the requirements of safety objectives annually.
• Develop plans with the Superintendent/Project Team to construct the project and outline means/methods.
• Communicate plans to all parties to ensure understanding of goals and responsibilities.
• Monitor costs, schedules, and ensure projects meet budget and time targets.
• Maintain daily records of significant project facts, events, and conditions.
• Prepare updates on construction activities and manpower/equipment needs.
• Inform supervisors/subcontractors promptly of schedule changes.
• Manage punch lists and closeout to ensure nonconforming work is corrected.
