Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Paving Operations Manager to oversee concrete construction operations from planning through completion. You will manage paving crews and batch plant activities across multiple North Texas projects, leading superintendents, foremen, and field crews to deliver high-quality flatwork and structures.

The role requires hands-on experience with slipform paving and a strong command of safety, cost control, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in concrete construction operations with hands-on paving experience.
• 5+ years supervising or managing field operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of slipform paving, stringline setup, finishing, joints, and dowels.
• Experience with structural concrete and flatwork, formwork, bridge decks, walls, and finishing.
• Knowledge of batch plant operations, mix designs, plant production, quality control, and testing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze production and cost data and take corrective actions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily concrete operations across multiple active projects, including crew planning and scheduling.
• Lead and develop superintendents, foremen, and field crews.
• Oversee concrete batch plant operations, including staffing, mix designs, quality control, and safety.
• Manage concrete scope across mainline, bridges, walls, and flatwork.
• Plan large placements with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Coordinate paving with subgrade, utilities, traffic control, and site operations.
• Monitor production, labor, equipment hours, and unit costs.
• Identify constraints and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain high-quality standards for placement, finishing, curing, joints, and dowel work.
• Coordinate equipment usage and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Promote OSHA compliance and safe work practices.
