Job summary

QP Group is seeking a General Superintendent / Paving Operations Manager to lead concrete paving across the DFW market. The role supervisors the concrete batch plant and multiple paving crews, ensuring production, safety, quality and timely project delivery.

Successful candidates will have extensive concrete paving experience, hands-on field leadership, and the ability to coordinate foremen and field personnel across diverse projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

• Experience overseeing multiple paving crews and foremen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on management style with field presence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day concrete paving operations across the DFW area.
• Manage and coordinate paving crews, including foremen and field personnel.
• Oversee concrete production and operations at the batch plant.
• Ensure crews, equipment, materials and production are properly coordinated.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to field teams.
• Monitor production, quality, safety and overall project performance.
• Work closely with project management and leadership to keep operations running efficiently.
• Help plan upcoming work, crew requirements and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot field and operational issues as they arise.
• Maintain relationships with foremen and project teams.
