Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to support front desk operations, patient registration, scheduling, and insurance processing at our Austin locations. You will generate referrals, process authorizations, and ensure accurate charting in EPIC while maintaining confidentiality and a patient‑focused approach.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with experience in a healthcare office and familiarity with ICD-10/CPT coding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six or more months of experience in a healthcare office.
• Proficient with Windows PC environments.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Patient Service Coordinator duties as needed.
• Handle front desk tasks: phones, scheduling, check-in/out, deposits.
• Register patients: collect insurance and demographic information.
• Process referrals and authorizations.
• Open front office and end of day duties.
• Assist with prior authorizations for medications.
