Qualifications

  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) designation within 12 months unless exempt by department leader.
  • Typically requires 7 years of clinical care experience with at least 2 years in safety, quality, or risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates implementation of site patient safety program with leadership and frontline tools to promote reliability.
  • Leads High Reliability Unit program, training safety coaches and launching local safety projects.
  • Coordinates safety efforts across site departments to align with Advocate Health's culture of high reliability.
