• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Minimum of four years of healthcare business office experience (registration, scheduling, medical records management, insurance).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, peers, medical staff, and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Supervisor in orientation and training to increase competency.
• Serve as initial contact for problem resolution of customer needs.
• Create, implement and manage clinic scheduling templates to improve patient access.
• Communicate with providers, leadership and frontline staff to promote collaboration.
• Answer and direct calls, providing information using directories to resolve callers’ needs.
• Handle emergency calls efficiently to promote patient safety.
• Schedule and pre-register following policies to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure demographics are updated and registration is completed during scheduling for accurate check-in and billing.
• Manage requests and communications with referring physicians to satisfy JHACH specialists and referring physicians.
• Maintain knowledge to respond to patient/staff requests and support operations.
• Follow department policies and use approved tools to provide consistent call handling and increased access.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and meet productivity standards to enhance patient/family satisfaction.
• Promote teamwork within and across departments to foster positive relations.
• Demonstrate willingness for personal and professional growth.
