Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients during registration.
• Handle advanced patient registration scenarios.
• Enter patient demographic and insurance information into the EHR.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical departments.
• Coordinate scheduling for specialized services and follow-up visits.
• Verify contact information and appointment details.
• Collaborate with insurance providers and billing teams on issues.
• Assist with insurance verification and guidance to colleagues.
• Explain registration/scheduling processes and payment options to patients.
• Address patient concerns and escalations.
• Assist in training newer staff on complex cases.
• Promote a positive patient experience by minimizing wait times and providing exceptional service.
