Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English well to perform duties safely and effectively.
• 12+ months as a Patient Access Representative or lead experience in lieu of Patient Access experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word) and EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient registration with minimal assistance.
• Identify payer sources and screen for federal/state assistance programs.
• Coordinate with leadership to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
• Educate and train Patient Access staff, and conduct audits as needed.
• Lead department projects and participate in quality management processes.
• Maintain professional, compassionate patient interactions and ensure accurate financial estimates.
