Responsibilities

• Greet patients and interact professionally with a positive attitude.
• Interview patients to collect complete financial and insurance information.
• Verify required authorizations and insurance coverage for visits.
• Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate party.
• Act as a liaison between the facility, physician, insurer and other agencies.
• Handle patient payments at time of registration.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Schedule patient appointments and procedures.
• Verify pain management benefits and obtain authorization for visits.
• Capable of supervising in the absence of the office manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and families.
