The role acts as a liaison among physicians, patients, facilities, and insurers, and handles patient payments with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or certificate is required.
• Ability to input data accurately and operate a computer.

• Experience establishing effective relationships and multitasking.
• Preferred: knowledge of EHR/EMR and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, facilities and insurance.
• Handle collections from patients at checkout and maintain confidentiality.
• Support compliance with organizational policies and standards.
