Qualifications

• 2–3 years of patient access or leadership experience.
• Strong revenue cycle knowledge including admissions and denials.
• Proficient in insurance verification and eligibility processes.
• Familiarity with ABN software and Medicare/insurance forms.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Assign MRNs and verify medical necessity and compliance.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Operate the switchboard for internal/external calls.
• Develop training materials and onboarding for new hires.
• Schedule staff and manage on-call coverage.
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education documents.
• Review eligibility and support POS/billing processes.
