You will coordinate with security, infrastructure, and end-user support teams to drive automation and audit readiness.

The role requires 8+ years in patch management, strong technical skills with WSUS/SCCM, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years in patch management, infrastructure operations, or security engineering with enterprise scope.
Deep understanding of patch management and experience with WSUS and SCCM or equivalent platforms.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills to manage multiple initiatives in a regulated environment.
Experience supporting audits and automated patch management in highly regulated settings.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Define and govern enterprise patch management strategy, standards, and schedules.
Architect and optimize large-scale patching solutions using WSUS/SCCM or equivalents.
Lead response to critical and zero-day vulnerabilities with rapid assessment and patch rollout.
Establish and manage patch exception and mitigation processes and report noncompliance.
Collaborate with vulnerability management, security operations, and network teams to integrate findings.
Design automation, scripting, and baselines to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
Publish executive metrics and dashboards on patch compliance and timelines.
