Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 8+ years in patch management, infrastructure operations, or security engineering with enterprise-wide responsibilities.
• Deep understanding of patch management and tools such as WSUS and SCCM.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with multitasking ability.
• Experience supporting audits and automated patch management in highly regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise patch management strategy, standards, and schedules.
• Architect and optimize patching solutions using WSUS/SCCM with detailed reporting.
• Lead response to critical vulnerabilities with rapid assessment and accelerated rollouts.
• Establish and manage patch exceptions and mitigate processes; report noncompliance.
• Coordinate with vulnerability management, security operations, and IT teams to integrate findings.
• Design automation and scripting to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Develop executive metrics and dashboards on patch compliance and remediation timelines.
