Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years of patch management, infra ops, or security engineering with enterprise ownership.
• Deep understanding of patch management principles and tools like WSUS and SCCM.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting audits in highly regulated environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise patch management strategy, standards, and schedules.
• Architect and optimize patching solutions using WSUS, SCCM, or equivalent platforms.
• Lead response to vulnerabilities with rapid assessment and accelerated patch rollouts.
• Establish and manage patch exception and mitigation processes, reporting noncompliance to leadership.
• Partner with vulnerability management and security teams to integrate scan results into patch planning.
• Design automation and baselines to reduce manual effort and improve patching consistency.
• Develop executive-level metrics and dashboards on patch compliance and remediation timelines.
