Job summary

Butler Machinery in North Dakota is seeking a parts department supervisor to help drive growth and ensure a safe, efficient operation across the store.

You will lead hourly staff, set goals, monitor KPIs, coordinate with Service and Sales to maximize parts availability, and resolve customer issues to protect fair value and a superior customer experience. This role requires strong leadership and a willingness to work with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience or leadership training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in customer relations.
• Ability to work in a cooperative manner with all levels and departments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen, analytical mindset and proven decision maker.
• 5-7 years' experience in parts department, warehousing, or purchasing position.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales within the parts department while assisting store‑wide growth.
• Monitor KPIs and adjust operations to meet plans.
• Provide a safe, healthy work environment within the department and store.
• Lead department staff and coordinate with Service and Sales to maximize parts availability.
• Resolve customer disputes to ensure fair value for customers and company.
