Job summary

Butler Machinery is seeking a Parts and Service Sales Representative for our store in Rapid City or Pierre, SD. You will support salesmen, present our parts and service value to customers, and pursue new accounts within the territory.

The role requires travel to customer sites, strong relationship skills, and proficiency with common office software. We offer a robust benefits package including retirement and health plans.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service and parts experience required.
• 1+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Advanced computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Establishes customer relationships.
• Assists salesmen with customer presentations.
• Relays parts and service opportunities to Aftermarket Sales Manager.
• Markets and sells the value of CAT parts and service.
• Finds new markets and customers within the territory.
• Performs equipment inspections and warranty checks.
• Keeps good customer records and forecasts territory potential.
• Collaborates with Customer Account & Parts/Service Managers on goals.
