Job summary

AltaGas seeks a Senior Partner for Organizational Design & Workforce Strategy to influence enterprise outcomes and shape how large utilities deploy talent and evolve operating models. You will work with executives to design fit-for-purpose structures, governance, and multi-year workforce strategies that drive cost efficiency and execution effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in organizational design, workforce strategy, management consulting, or enterprise transformation.
• Expertise in organizational design and operating model transformation within asset-intensive environments.
• Strong business and financial acumen linking design decisions to cost, productivity and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end organizational design and operating model initiatives across large, complex functions and enterprise programs.
• Translate enterprise strategies into future state designs, including operating models, governance and spans & layers optimization.
• Conduct current state diagnostics, benchmarking, and scenario analysis to define opportunities.
• Develop and evaluate alternative organizational and service delivery models with cost and risk implications.
• Build defensible business cases for design decisions with scalability and value realization.
• Support strategic workforce planning with multi-year supply/demand scenarios and capability gaps.
• Ensure designs enable technology-driven operating models including ERP, digital, and AI initiatives.
• Design and facilitate executive workshops to drive alignment and timely decisions.
• Craft executive-ready narratives translating complex analysis into decision-ready insights.
• Partner with utility business leaders and regulatory stakeholders for sustained impact.
• Coach leaders and HR partners on organizational design thinking to build enterprise capability.
