Job summary

AltaGas Ltd. is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead FP&A for the Utility segment, manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, and shape performance reporting for senior leadership.

The role partners with Utilities and Corporate, drives regulatory insights, and guides capital allocation and investment decisions while advancing data-driven decision making across a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A workstreams including budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for the Utility business.
• Provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Oversee executive and Board-level reporting and strategic communications.
• Drive Finance transformation initiatives, improving processes, data, and analytics.
