Virginia Tech is seeking a Parking Enforcement Supervisor to lead Parking Services, supervise officers, and oversee daily enforcement operations while ensuring customer service and safety standards are met. Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Ability to organize work schedules and coordinate daily assignments.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems or willingness to obtain certification.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate university vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate Parking Enforcement Officers.
• Oversee daily parking enforcement operations and zone coverage.
• Monitor LPR operations and equipment utilization.
• Ensure training and proficiency in enforcement procedures and equipment.
• Manage equipment, vehicles, uniforms, and supplies.
• Inspect signage and lot markings and coordinate maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with body camera policies and safety requirements.
• Assist management with events and special parking arrangements.
• Provide oversight of customer concerns and enforcement-related situations.
• Perform citations and assist with event parking as needed.
• Review activity and reports to identify improvements and communicate with management.
• Inspect parking areas and coordinate maintenance requests.
