Job summary

Cherry Talent Group seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent for Parks & Recreation construction in the Greater Houston Area. You will lead park, amenity, and recreational projects from site prep through completion, coordinating grading, drainage, utilities, and concrete work while managing subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong field leadership, the ability to read civil and structural drawings, and a proven track record of solving field

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial site development or heavy site construction.
• Strong knowledge of grading and drainage systems.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage park, recreation, and amenity construction projects from site prep through completion.
• Oversee grading, drainage, underground utilities, and concrete work.
• Coordinate subcontractors; ensure safety, quality, and schedule.
• Read and interpret civil, grading, drainage, and structural plans.
• Identify field conflicts and propose practical solutions to stay on schedule.
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and municipal reps.
• Maintain budgets and daily field operations; document progress.
