Job summary

Amicus Talent Group on behalf of a leading Houston-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial projects in the Houston area.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong GC background, proven leadership, and hands-on expertise in ground-up construction, scheduling, QA/QC, and safety, driving projects from mobilization to closeout while coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.

Qualifications

• Strong GC background with commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing projects from ground-up through closeout.
• Excellent leadership, communication, safety, and schedule focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities.
• Lead projects from mobilization through turnover.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades.
• Maintain schedules and drive accountability.
• Conduct daily site meetings and coordinate upcoming work.
• Review drawings and specifications to resolve issues.
• Ensure quality and safety on site.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, and subs.
