Job summary

Clark Construction seeks a hands-on Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale projects in Houston. You will oversee self-performed and subcontracted work, manage safety, schedule, and quality, and drive performance to meet client expectations.

You will develop plans, coordinate with stakeholders, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with contract documents, budget, and KPI targets, while representing the company professionally on site and in meetings.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related experience.
• 7+ years on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and quality installation of contracted work for a project or scope.
• Instill safety and quality culture and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Create and manage sequencing plans, logistics, and material/personnel tracking.
• Ensure high work quality per standards and project KPIs.
• Develop, update, and communicate project schedules with stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members and maintain professional relationships.
• Participate in close-out activities and KPI analysis.
