Cherry Talent Group in the Greater Houston area is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead park, recreation, and amenity construction projects from site preparation through completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial site development, with strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and concrete work. You will coordinate subcontractors, read civil plans, and maintain schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial site development or heavy site construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial park, recreation, and amenity construction projects from site preparation through completion.
• Oversee grading, drainage, underground utilities, structural concrete, sidewalks, hardscape, playground installation, and vertical building components.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications.
• Read and interpret civil, grading, drainage, and structural plans.
• Identify field conflicts and develop practical solutions while maintaining project schedules.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and municipal representatives.
• Manage project schedules, quality control, budgets, and daily field operations.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Mentor junior field staff and assistant superintendents.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
