Job summary

B&D Contractors is seeking an adaptable Superintendent to oversee day‑to‑day construction activities at Houston projects. You will coordinate schedules, crews, subcontractors and material needs, ensuring work is completed safely and per project requirements, in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in superintendent roles across commercial, residential or civil environments, strong communication, and proficiency with Premier/Procore/AutoCAD/MS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or landscape construction.
• 2 years of superintendent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (Premier, Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish ensuring compliance with specs and SOPs.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and crews.
• Enforce company and OSHA safety programs.
• Provide progress updates to Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Communicate changes or issues promptly to PM.
• Maintain daily reports and photos in Procore.
• Ensure work quality aligns with construction documents.
