Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department seeks a Park/Historic Site Superintendent IV to manage the Sauceda Unit at Big Bend Ranch State Park. You will oversee preservation, facilities, revenue, HR, and partnerships, leading a team with minimal supervision in a remote Big Bend setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 5 years in resource management or related fields, and 3 years of supervision. Valid driver's license required; on-site housing supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years' experience in natural/cultural resource management or related fields.
• Three years' experience as a supervisor or team leader.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preservation, protection, administration and maintenance of Sauceda Unit at Big Bend Ranch State Park.
• Manage finances including budget planning, monitoring and revenue.
• Lead park operations, volunteer development and partnerships.
