Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department seeks an experienced Assistant Park/Historic Site Superintendent IV for Cedar Hill State Park. You will oversee administration, enforcement, maintenance, education, and resource protection, guiding staff and volunteers to safeguard natural and cultural resources.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and multiple years of management experience, including supervision and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years in park/resource management, interpretation/education, maintenance, public safety, PR/marketing.
• Two years in supervision or team leadership.
• Valid State driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conserve park resources and operations.
• Provide leadership to staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Coordinate administration, maintenance, marketing, events and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with agency rules and procedures.
