Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Parent Relations Director to oversee families across campus, guiding tough conversations and protecting the coaching relationship with Guides. You will own four core areas: trust, retention, advocacy, and community growth, adapting as campuses mature.

You’ll partner with Guides to align and defend Alpha's model, while handling real-time judgment calls and high-trust interactions with affluent families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families, clients, donors, or members.
• Ability to make firm decisions with demanding stakeholders while maintaining relationships.
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools and belief in AI-powered education.
• Independent ownership of ambiguous relationships, communities, or growth outcomes.
• Familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education.

Responsibilities

• Own each family relationship on campus and lead hard conversations with clear decisions and follow-through.
• Operate as the parent-facing co-leader alongside Guides; align before/after sensitive conversations.
• Make real-time calls in ambiguous student/family situations and route high-risk matters appropriately.
• Build the campus community through traditions, parent networks, and local partnerships.
• Own growth contribution per campus phase, from admissions to enrollment or retention.
