Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Parent Relations Director to own the trusted relationship with families and lead difficult conversations with transparency and confidence. You will work closely with Guides to protect authority and coach families through complex, sensitive decisions.

You will drive community growth, retention, and strategic partnerships at campuses, including admissions follow-through during early launch and later retention efforts, all while embracing AI-powered education to support families

Qualifications

• 5+ years owning high-trust relationships with families, clients, donors, or members
• Track record of holding firm decisions with demanding stakeholders
• Independent ownership of ambiguous relationships, community, or growth outcomes
• Clear, concise communication with affluent, high-expectation families
• Hands-on daily use of AI tools in an education context

Responsibilities

• Own four things: trust, retention, and advocacy of every family; partnership with Guides; campus community life; growth contribution per campus phase.
• Lead and defend tough conversations with families about Alpha's model and expectations.
• Make real-time judgment calls in ambiguous student and family situations; escalate high-risk matters appropriately.
• Build campus community through events, parent networks, and local partnerships with credible parent champions.
• Own admissions follow-through and growth at launch/under-enrolled campuses; support retention and referrals later.
