Carta is seeking candidates for its Contracts team to process investment-related NDAs and related documents with speed and accuracy. Reporting to a Supervising Attorney in the USA, you will work with Carta's US lawyers and embedded AI agents to deliver high-volume contract work for private capital clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of transactional legal experience, thrive under pressure, and balance commercial pragmatism with rigorous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in transactional or corporate legal work with NDA drafting.
• Ability to handle high-volume, deadline-driven work while maintaining quality.
• Strong commercial and legal pragmatism to apply concepts effectively.
• Written and verbal communication is crisp and concise.
• Self-starter who identifies inefficiencies and seeks improvements.
• Familiarity with private markets is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Own prompt intake and first-round markup of investment-related NDAs and related documents.
• Assist US lawyers with first-round drafting and ad hoc legal work.
• Set up client workflows, manage document portals, and drive contracts to execution.
• Deliver crisp, commercially sound contract support balancing speed and accuracy.
