Job summary

Carta is seeking a Contracts professional to support investment-related NDAs and transactional documents at a fast pace, reporting to a Supervising Attorney in the USA. You’ll collaborate with Carta's US lawyers and embedded AI agents to deliver high-volume contract work with speed and consistency.

You’ll thrive in a high-volume environment, handling drafting and business-focused reviews with an emphasis on accuracy and practical outcomes, while upholding Carta’s standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transactional or corporate experience, with exposure to commercial contracts and investment-related NDA drafting.
• Ability to work in high-volume, deadline-driven environments without compromising quality.
• Strong commercial and legal pragmatism; know when to push and when to finalize.
• Clear written and verbal communication; concise and effective.
• Self-starting attitude with a mindset to improve team processes.
• Familiarity with private markets and investor workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep contracts moving by handling prompt intake and first-round markup of investment-related NDAs and related documents.
• Support US lawyers with first-round drafting and ad hoc legal work to handle high volume.
• Set up and coordinate client workflows, manage document portals, and drive contracts to execution.
• Deliver crisp, commercially sound contract support that balances speed with accuracy and client needs.
