Carta is seeking a Senior Associate Contract Solutions Lawyer to join the Contracts team in the Americas, based in Seattle, WA. Qualifications

• JD required and licensed to practice in the Americas (US/Canada).
• 4+ years of post-law-school corporate/transactional experience.
• Experience negotiating pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters).
• Experience with financial services clients such as asset managers or investment banks.
• Comfort with legal tech and AI tools/solutions.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts with turnaround times.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment funds and asset managers.
• Maintain and update client playbooks to ensure consistency across negotiations.
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
