Qualifications
- 4+ years of post law school corporate or transactional experience
- Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada)
- Experience independently negotiating pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters)
- Experience with asset managers, investment banks or financial services firms
Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for sophisticated clients
- Maintain and update client playbooks for consistency and quality
- Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
- Contribute to AI-enabled improvements of Carta's legal tech tools
