Job summary

Skadden, Arps...LLP is seeking a seasoned paralegal to support Federal and State court filings across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves guiding discovery, coordinating interviews, depositions, and trials, and reviewing and formatting legal papers for electronic filing.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of paralegal experience, with strong proficiency in Relativity, Westlaw/LexisNexis, PACER, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum six years of paralegal experience or similar skillset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with Federal and State court pleadings preparation and filing.
• Assist with discovery phases including document review, production, and depositions.
• Prepare for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Review motions and briefs; proofread, cite-check, and format documents.
• Coordinate large, complex filings and confidential filing procedures.
• Coordinate with team for deadlines and case filings.
• Conduct complex searches and pull documents in Relativity and other databases.
• Prepare privilege and redaction logs.
• Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Assist with data management and analysis on large projects.
• Maintain and improve case management and electronic filing workflows.
