Travelers seeks a skilled paralegal to support attorneys in complex matters, manage files, and assist with trial preparation. The role requires solid insurance industry knowledge and proficient legal research and writing abilities.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, prepare documents, and help ensure efficient case management across matters. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, a relevant paralegal certificate, and experience in a litigation environment with strong attention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred.
• Paralegal or litigation experience in insurance setting.
• Strong writing and legal research skills; grammar emphasis.
• Proficient with Westlaw, LexisNexis, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct moderate to complex legal research and draft documents.
• Support attorneys with case preparation and file management.
• Prepare motions, subpoenas, and privilege logs.
• Summarize deposition transcripts and assist trial preparation.
• Prepare exhibits and other demonstrative evidence.
• Assist in trial strategy and coordinate with multiple parties.
• Manage data, reports, and underwriting files as needed.
• Coordinate with document management for records.
• Provide testimony at depositions or trial as needed.
• Capture time and time-entry in accordance with policy.
