Job summary

Ignite Human Capital seeks a seasoned Case Manager to lead complex litigation support across product liability, mass tort, and class actions. The role coordinates attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff, drafting critical documents and managing budgets and case operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years as a paralegal in high-volume litigation, with leadership experience and strong knowledge of federal/state rules and court procedures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of paralegal experience within a relevant practice group.
• Extensive experience with complex litigation, particularly product liability, mass tort, and class action matters.
• Prior experience acting as a lead paralegal or managing complex cases and legal teams strongly preferred.
• California-based paralegals must meet applicable California Paralegal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases and track all activity; ensure workflows capture case activity.
• Coordinate for attorneys, clients, outside counsel, opposing counsel, paralegals, and vendors.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, summaries, and materials for review.
• Support complex product liability, mass tort, and class actions matters.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Apply federal, state, and local rules, procedures, and filing requirements.
• Lead paralegal; oversee staff and coordinate projects with attorneys.
• Manage budgets, staffing, resources, and workflows for efficiency.
• Oversee case-management tools; develop checklists and processes to improve efficiency.
• Mentor associates and paralegals; provide training to legal teams.
• Interact with clients; serve as a key point of contact.
