Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Sr Painter for the 1st shift to contribute to aerospace and defense manufacturing. You will perform painting, sand blasting, spray painting with conventional and airless equipment, prep surfaces and maintain related records and logs.

The role requires formal craft training and at least three years of related experience, ability to read blueprints and sketches, and a willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Formal craft training and 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches, shop orders and perform shop mathematics.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Painting, sand blasting, spray painting using conventional and airless equipment.
• Pulling blast/paint lines, mixing paint, pressure washing, surface preparation for coatings.
• Maintain records, forms and logs.
• Perform equipment maintenance.
• Work from engineering drawings and follow instructions.
• Perform work in confined spaces.
