Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a paint technician in Minnesota to prime and finish spray-painted assemblies. You will maintain equipment, mix paints, and ensure compliance with SOPs.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent with 1 year of related experience. The position operates on a 2nd shift, offers comprehensive benefits, and involves working on-site with standard safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for priming and final painting of detail parts and final assemblies to current spec requirements.
• Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control.
• Follow standard operating procedures and specifications.
• Mix paint to specified viscosity.
• Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment.
• Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary.
• Mask and prep parts for paint as required.
• Cure parts after topcoat application.
• Operate Chart recorders.
