Johnson Controls in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Industrial Painter I to coat sheet metal and finish components for data center equipment. The role requires operating spray equipment, performing body work, and following SOPs for safe, consistent finishes.
Candidates should have 2–4 years of industrial painting experience, ability to read SOPs, and strength to lift over 25 pounds. Experience with sheet metal and color discernment is preferred.

Primary Focus
The primary role of the Painter I is to provide all required materials to each department before they are required. Responsibilities will include identifying potential safety hazards, selecting, or mixing the appropriate paint, and reading and interpreting SOPs. In the course of his/her duties, the Industrial Painter will inspect surfaces for contamination prior to coating and identify and employ methods that will reduce exposure to hazardous chemicals from the paint. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
