Textron Systems is seeking a Senior Painter for the First Shift in New Orleans as part of its Marine & Land Systems business area. The role focuses on painting, surface prep, and maintaining coatings, with exposure to blueprints and engineering drawings.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of related painting experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Rotating shifts and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and sketches, shop orders and perform shop mathematics.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Paint, sand blast and spray paint using conventional and airless equipment.
• Perform equipment maintenance and tool handling.
• Read drawings and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Maintain records and logs and perform related duties.
