Job summary

LG Electronics in Alabama is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Paint department, manage start-up information, training needs, and material availability while upholding 5S standards and safety targets.

You will coordinate with other teams, review performance, enforce quality systems, and maintain payroll for Press employees, contributing to efficient production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience mentoring/coaching operators and line personnel.
• Strong grasp of manufacturing methods and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily Paint operations plan.
• Provide line leaders with daily start-up information.
• Oversee training needs of Paint operators, technicians and leaders.
• Verify raw material availability and report shortages.
• Enforce plant policies and procedures; monitor safety and quality.
• Review performance and apply corrective actions to staff as needed.
• Maintain quality systems in the Paint department.
• Monitor quality issues and respond to internal customer concerns.
• Achieve daily targets for Safety, Quality, Idle Time, UPH and 5S.
