Job summary

LG Electronics North America is seeking a Paint Quality Assurance professional to lead development and management of paint and powder coatings processes. The role requires evaluating production quality, conducting root cause analyses, and communicating findings to production teams.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in paint QA, a degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on experience with powder coatings, automatic painting robots, and electrostatic spray systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Paint Quality Assurance or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with powder coatings for home appliance manufacturing and automated painting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of paint and powder coatings operations.
• Review QMS based on ISO quality standards.
• Analyze production samples and provide feedback on field quality and nonconformances.
