Job summary

LG Electronics is hiring a Paint Operations Leader in Clarksville, TN to orchestrate the daily paint plan and mentor line leaders and operators. You will ensure material readiness, enforce policies, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency targets in a high-volume production setting.

You will coordinate training, monitor material usage, and support cross-functional teams. A strong background in manufacturing and hands-on problem solving is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Production experience.
• Experience in mentoring and/or coaching Operators.
• Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the daily Paint operations plan.
• Provide line leaders with daily start-up information.
• Coordinate training needs for Paint operators, technicians and line leaders.
• Verify raw material availability and report shortages.
• Monitor and enforce plant policies and procedures.
• Assist Manager with performance reviews of operators, technicians and line leaders.
• Oversee quality systems in the Paint department.
• Monitor product quality and address internal customer issues.
• Achieve daily targets for Safety, Quality, IF Cost, Idle Time, UPH, and 5S.
• Interact with other departments as needed.
• Make radio calls to PM and AGV technicians as required.
• Maintain payroll for Press employees.
• Apply corrective actions to Press employees as required.
• Ensure materials are used efficiently.
• Enforce FI-11 and 5S standards.
• Attend production planning meetings and trainings.
