1000heads is seeking a Director, Paid Content Strategy in Los Angeles to lead and grow our paid offering across the US. This role blends content, audiences and creative opportunity with hands-on paid social expertise, translating strategy into campaigns, activation plans and measurement frameworks with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Strategy, Creative, Community and Insights to identify opportunities, develop integrated paid/content strategies, and shape the future of our paid

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media, social strategy, content strategy or integrated marketing.
• Deep expertise in paid social strategy and activation across major platforms.
• Strong ability to connect audience, content, creative and business objectives.
• Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns within paid platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead paid and content strategy across client work, linking media thinking with broader social and audience strategies.
• Develop integrated paid and organic social approaches to extend and amplify ideas.
• Translate objectives into clear paid strategies, channel approaches and activation plans.
• Partner with Creative and Strategy to design ideas for environments and formats.
• Stay curious about emerging paid social products and proactively bring new ideas to clients.
• Lead hands-on campaign execution across paid social platforms
• Develop audience targeting, testing and optimization approaches
• Work with Insights and Strategy to develop measurement frameworks
• Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations
• Identify opportunities to turn organic performance and cultural insights into paid opportunities
