DSJ Global is recruiting on behalf of a national packaging manufacturer for a sales-focused role in Michigan. You will manage and grow a B2B portfolio of corrugated customers, expanding the footprint across the state.

This position requires 3+ years in packaging sales, strong negotiation and relationship-building, and the ability to travel up to 50% within Michigan. You will collaborate with estimating, design, and operations to deliver tailored corrugated solutions and quotations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of packaging experience with proven B2B corrugated sales.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop, and win new accounts.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Travel up to 50% within the state.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain, and grow an established portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
• Develop new business throughout the Michigan market.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts with more products and packaging solutions.
• Prospect and develop new customers through outreach, referrals, networking, and territory development.
• Understand customer packaging challenges and translate needs into corrugated solutions.
• Collaborate with estimating, design, customer service, production, and operations.
• Manage quotations, proposals, and commercial discussions.
• Maintain a healthy new-business pipeline while supporting existing customers.
• Monitor market activity to expand the company's footprint in the territory.
