Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Packing Line Technician to set up production lines across three value streams in Cincinnati. You will assist maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the floor.

The role requires Electro/Mechanical experience, packaging equipment familiarity, and at least three years in a packing line position. A technical certificate or degree is preferred, with opportunities to advance within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electro/Mechanical background with hands-on packaging equipment experience.
• Experience diagnosing vision system faults is beneficial.
• Minimum three years as packing line technician or equivalent.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to line priorities.

Responsibilities

• Effectively setup production lines across all three value streams.
• Monitor and maintain above target OEE performance on the floor.
• Assist peers with troubleshooting and provide depth on root causes.
• Coordinate with cross functional groups to resolve recurring issues.
• Back up maintenance for troubleshooting and higher level repairs.
• Perform higher level vision system troubleshooting and resolution.
• Initiate and lead 5S improvements across the floor.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive cross functional implementation.
