Job summary

AbbVie in Cincinnati is seeking a Packaging Operator VI for the 2nd shift (2:15pm - 10:15pm). You will effectively set up production lines across all three value streams, monitor OEE, and assist peers with troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school education, a technical certificate or degree preferred, electro/mechanical experience, packaging equipment knowledge, and at least three years as a packing line technician.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; a technical certificate or degree is preferred.
• Electro/Mechanical experience, skills and knowledge required.
• Previous technical experience with packaging equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of vision system faults and resolutions is a plus.
• Packing Line Technician for a minimum of three years or equivalent experience.
• Works with production schedule and line priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Effectively setup production lines across all three value streams.
• Monitor and maintain above target OEE on the production floor.
• Assist peers with troubleshooting and provide deeper root-cause insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to resolve recurring issues and improve performance.
• Back up maintenance for troubleshooting and higher level repairs.
• Perform higher level vision system troubleshooting and resolution.
• Lead 5S improvements across the production floor.
• Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate cross-functional implementation.
