AbbVie in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced packaging equipment technician to troubleshoot and repair high-speed bottling and thermoforming lines in a GMP environment. You will read drawings and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and support changeovers and line improvements.

Requirements include 5+ years of direct experience with PLCs and hardwired relay logic, metal fabrication preferred, and strong analytical skills to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Competenze

5+ years of direct experience with troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment.
Experience with PLCs and hardwired relay logic systems.
Metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

Troubleshoot and repair high-speed bottling and thermoforming packaging equipment.
Perform changeovers according to production schedule.
Conduct preventive maintenance on packaging and related equipment.
Create and track work orders in the CMMS for repairs or adjustments.
Initiate purchase requisitions for required materials.
Document work to meet GMP requirements and training records.
Read machine drawings and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
Assist in corrective actions for equipment-related non-conformances.
Develop line-improvement ideas to boost efficiency and lower labor.
Complete modifications through Change Control program.
