Job summary

AbbVie in Cincinnati is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 2nd shift (2:15pm–10:15pm). You will troubleshoot and repair high-speed packaging equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support packaging operations to maintain line efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with PLCs and relay logic, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and schematics. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical schooling is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or military experience preferred.
• 5+ years direct experience troubleshooting and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and hardwired relay logic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on packaging and supporting equipment.
• Changeover packaging equipment per the production schedule.
• Initiate work orders in the CMMS for repairs and adjustments; document GMP records.
