Job summary

Baxters North America in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex production equipment, and complete repairs per manuals and manufacturer specs. The role monitors equipment performance, logs modifications, and ensures safety procedures are followed.

You will work with hand and power tools and precision measuring equipment, diagnose downtime, implement countermeasures, and train operators as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED; related technical training preferred.
Experience with high-speed packaging/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment per manuals and specs.
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
Diagnoses downtime and implements countermeasures.
Trains operators and other mechanics as needed.
Attends scheduled training and adheres to safety rules (OSHA).
Reads diagrams, schematics; PLC/Controls troubleshooting (Allen Bradley).
Electrical troubleshooting; other duties as assigned.
